SE72 is a Grade 500E seismic-certified mesh, engineered for structural applications where earthquake performance matters – suspended floors, engineered ground slabs, and any pour where a minimum strength is specified by an engineer. Unlike standard mesh, SE72 is manufactured to NZS4671:2019 Ductility Class E, giving it the ductility to flex under seismic load rather than fail. It’s the mesh you’ll see called up on engineering plans across Auckland builds.
